Scott Boone

President & CEO

With over 20 years of experience in property development and construction, land-use planning and community development, Scott leads NHO as President/CEO, a position he has held since 2004.  During his tenure, NHO has grown from a single-county housing provider into a statewide leader of affordable and supportive housing.  Along the way, NHO was named 2008 Ohio CDC of the Year, among other honors.

Scott has a Master of Arts degree in Political Science/Public Administration from Marshall University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Shawnee State University.  Additionally, he is a 2005 graduate of Lead Clermont. Scott is on the Board of Directors of NAMI Ohio and the Ohio Federation for Children’s Mental Health. Scott is on the steering committees for The Mental Health & Addiction Advocacy Coalition (MHAC) and Judge Rudduck’s You-Turn Recovery Docket in Clinton County.  He is also a member of the Anderson Township Zoning Commission. Previously he served on the Clermont County Mental Health Board, the Ohio Valley Resource Conservation and Development Council, and the Eastern Area United Way Action Council.

He is active in youth coaching and mentoring and lives with his wife and four children in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Teresa Carrier

Executive Vice President & COO

Teresa is responsible for leading and directing New Housing Ohio’s daily operational activities.  Prior to her role as Chief Operating Officer, Teresa oversaw the Finance and Administration of NHO as the Chief Financial Officer.  Since her arrival in 2002, Teresa has taken a lead role in NHO’s development projects from inception to completion with her grant writing and financial reporting expertise.  Teresa has extensive accounting knowledge and experience in not-for profit as well as for-profit in her personal life as a small business owner.  Her strong financial background, attention to detail and experience with grant compliance is a sound presence on NHO’s housing development team.
Teresa is very active in the NAMI Southwest Ohio Chapter and serves on their Board of Directors.  Teresa earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and has been involved with specialized housing programs and development for over 28 years.  She lives in Oxford with her husband of 26 years and daughter who graduated from Ball State University in December 2015, and who will be a first year graduate student at Wright State University in the fall of 2016.

Shannon Stamper

Vice President & CAO

Shannon is in charge of the accounting and human resources department for New Housing Ohio and its subsidiaries.  She is a 2006 graduate of Shawnee State University in which she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  After graduation, Shannon moved to the Cincinnati area where she obtained a position with New Housing Ohio as the Benefits Manager.  In her role as a Benefits Manager she worked with our clientele on budgeting, bill paying, obtaining public assistance, etc.  She quickly gained the skills and knowledge necessary to become a key leader for the organization.  Shannon is a dedicated part of our team and has contributed greatly to the growth of New Housing Ohio over the last thirteen years.  Her experience and training in accounting and human resources is vital to our organization.   

 

Shannon lives in the Loveland area with her husband of fourteen years with her two young children.

Patrick Baldwin

Facilities Director

Patrick has been working at New Housing Ohio since 1998 starting as Maintenance Supervisor and has served in his current position since 2009. He has been involved in housing related fields for over 17 years and, prior to NHO, worked for a local housing authority. Patrick has carpentry certification and oversees the maintenance, management and compliance for all existing NHO properties and new projects at completion. His knowledge and experience in facilities management continues to be an asset to the housing development team at NHO. Patrick lives in the Wilmington area with his wife.

Taylor Alsip

Administrative Manager

Taylor is our Administrative Manager, she is responsible for all of our marketing, simple IT resolution, also supports our team at Transformative Wellness with doing all managed billing. Taylor wears multiple hat within our company, but she always does it with a smile!

In her free time, she enjoys being outside, spending time with her family, and taking care of those around her. Taylor lives in the Franklin area with her husband of 3 years and their son.

Phoenix Segrist

Administrative Services Manager

Phoenix is our Administrative Assistant, he assists with answering in coming phone calls, assists with our accounting team and working very closely with our team at Transformative Wellness. Phoenix is always on the move to make sure we all have just what we need to get the job done.

Phoenix lives in the Loveland area with his wife and 3 dogs. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Christa Sinclair

Accounting Coordinator

Christa is responsible for New Housing Ohio’s Accounting department. Christa has had 19 years of experience in the accounting field with her previous employer. She has worn many hats over the years from freight payables, property accounting, cash control accounting, and tax accounting. Christa is looking forward to becoming a huge asset to the NHO team with these past experiences. Christa lives in Fairfield with her husband, her son, and her daughter, who is currently attending Miami University for her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development. In Christa’s free time she enjoys country music concerts and vacations to the beach!

Heather Miles

Recovery House Coordinator

Heather Miles is our Recovery House Coordinator; she started her journey with NHO back in 2016. She lived in our Women’s Recovery House for 10 months. While her time there she learned how to live a clean and sober life. She got her own home, and was offered a position with NHO as Women’s Recovery House Assistant Manager. Today Heather now manages both the women’s and the men’s recovery houses. Heather lives in Wilmington, OH. She enjoys spending time with her family and loving life!

Dreama Contner

Group Care Manager

Dreama is our Group Care Manager, previously Smith House Coordinator, a position she had held for 3 years. She has worked in the Mental Health Field for 8 years, spending 5 years at Solutions. During those years she helped operate a Crisis Line while helping to manage a Group Home of 12. Dreama enjoys inspiring her residents to become their best and likes to build a positive rapport with the community and area agencies.  Dreama has been married for 29 years has 2 children, 2 grandsons and a granddaughter.  During her free time, she enjoys being outside with her family.

Natalie Jones

Housing Case Manager

Natalie graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies area of concentration in Families, Gender and Society\Organizational Leadership.  She also has an Associate of Arts Degree in Sociology. Natalie is a certified Community Health Worker (CCHW).  Her goal in life is to help everyone become their best self.  Natalie enjoys praise dancing, bike riding, socializing and having fun.  She loves to entertain people so they can have a great time.

Belinda Moore

Group Home Coordinator

Belinda is our Smith House Coordinator. Prior to joining NHO, Belinda has worked for other agencies with clients who have intellectual, developmental disabilities/ behavior, and mental health conditions. Belinda is very enthusiastic to be part of the NHO team and to continue to make a difference with the clients she works with. Belinda lives in Warren County, with her husband of 18 years, three daughters and one granddaughter. Belinda and her family enjoys cook-outs, hiking and fishing.
